About Us
Rocky Mountain Publishing Professionals Guild is an organization of mostly self-employed individuals working in the publishing and communication industries.
RMPPG is the oldest and largest group of publishing specialists in Colorado, with most of its members based in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs. It was founded in 1991 to:
- Promote and enhance the professional skills of its members
- Increase dialogue among colleagues and clients through meetings and social events
- Foster effective, ethical business practices
RMPPG members offer a full range of editing services and publishing specialties to clients with a local, regional, national, or international presence.
We serve individuals, publishers, and businesses; research, educational, and academic institutions; and nonprofit and governmental organizations.
Members include experienced writers, editors, proofreaders, indexers, graphic designers, researchers, fact-checkers, trainers, writing coaches, translators, desktop publishers, and other publishing specialists.

RMPPG Board of Directors
RMPPG is governed by a board of directors, who are elected from the membership for a one-year term.
Board members oversee RMPPG's budget, plan RMPPG's social and educational programs, maintain this Web site and other avenues of outreach, and make policy decisions. The board meets several times a year.
Serving on the board is a great way to network and deepen professional relationships. We always welcome members interested in being on the board.
