Join
If you are an editor, proofreader, graphic designer, desktop publisher, indexer, writer, researcher, fact-checker, writing or editing coach, translator, or other publishing professional, we invite you to join RMPPG.
Our membership year runs from October 1 to September 30, and dues are $40 a year. New members are welcome to join at any time, but dues are not prorated.
RMPPG records its member information (profiles) in a password-protected online directory. Members set up their own login name (username) and password for their profiles, create their own profiles, and keep their profiles updated.
Follow these steps to join RMPPG:
- Fill out the Membership Application form below. For an explanation of the services listed on this form, see the descriptions on the Services page. Specialties, which you type into the form, can be industries or areas of study, such as legal, medical, or Southeast Asia; document types, such as newsletters, business plans, or screen plays; or format types, such as InDesign or CINDEX. The Personal Statement is your introduction or distinguishing summary; it is shown on the brief form of the directory displayed when people start a search.
- Double-check all information in your profile (you are responsible for your own proofreading).
- Mail a check for $40, made out to RMPPG, along with a note listing your name, telephone number, and e-mail address, to:

You will be notified when your payment has been received and your membership renewed. This may take a little while, as we are staffed solely by volunteers.
